Aliso and Wood Canyons Wilderness Park is an 8.5 mile loop #trail located near Laguna Niguel. The trail itself was very woody and shady and also featured a nice little river. You start from the Top of the World trail head, and on clear days like the time we went, you could see the ocean and Catalina Island. It was quite amazing. It definitely makes you appreciate living in California, with it's gorgeous sweeping #views of the coast. If you look close enough, you could see the natural #wildlife along the trails. The trail is one of the most beautiful and diverse, and features riparian woodlands, grassy meadows, rolling hills, and sandstone caves. We were also able to see deer and woodpeckers in their #habitat. This trail is also popular among #mountain bikers.
