OSPREY AURA  AG

Osprey AURA 65 AG
OPREY AURA 65 AG

After shopping around for a women's specific backpacking backpack for my long distance hiking and camping trips, and getting custom sizing at REI, I went with the OSPREY AURA 65 AG. I like the anti-gravity suspension system that contours to my waist and hips. It wraps gently but firmly around my hips but still gives me easy mobility and unrestricted movement. The backpack has a removable top lip and plenty of pockets for for additional gear. With complete contact throughout the entire back of your body, you don't get pressure points, and it provides great ventilation. The backpack also allows for adjust-ability. Four compression straps connect directly to the frame, allowing you to squeeze down and stabilize smaller loads.

It weighs about 4 lbs 4 oz and feels pretty light compared to the other top brand backpacks out there. I was able to fit my hydration bladder, sleeping bag, sleeping pad, food, and all my necessities with plenty of room to spare. It's on the pricier side at about $200, but I feel you are getting your money's worth in comfort and reliability. Osprey makes really good products and I would recommend this product for those long rigorous hiking trips.
